Nearly 10 years ago I took a picture of the geometric design of window and door of the building facing my Maverick Television office. The windows were soon painted and lo and behold  the space became Eastside Projects, a new contemporary art gallery. To match their exhibition programme a bill board was erected and has given a hint of what was inside for the last 8 years. This year a flag of many global nations appeared and in May the billboard replaced the ‘A’ of Eastside with ‘U’ as the UK voted for remaining or leaving the European Union - EUSTSIDE.  Post vote the billboard is no more. Exhibitions continue.
